Gipsy Hill provided a mix of experiences for my family vacation, which I feel is worth sharing with other families seeking adventure. Located conveniently off the M5, the hotel was accessible, making it a good stopover. Upon arrival, the single room was clean and tidy, with a comfy bed, but we found the noise levels a bit high due to its placement near a busy area. One night, a cat unexpectedly jumped through our window, leading to a surprising moment of laughter for the entire family! The quirky vibe of the hotel gave it a unique character reminiscent of Fawlty Towers, which made our stay memorable. We met other guests who shared the same sentiment about the unusual happenings. The staff were accommodating, even when they had to move us to a quieter room. While the restaurant operated on limited hours, we enjoyed a family dinner in the nearby town, exploring local eateries. Gipsy Hill may not be fully operational yet, but its charm and family-friendly atmosphere make it a noteworthy option for those open to an adventure filled with quirks.
